This poignant Niue legal tender coin vividly depicts the world's most infamous maritime disaster, the "unsinkable" Titanic hitting an iceberg at 11:40 pm and sinking two hours and forty minutes later with 1,500 lives lost.

The expansive 38.60mm crown-sized flan depicts the ship sinking beneath waves, highlighted by glowing cabin lights against the Black Proof background, with coordinates of the wreck site found 40 years ago in 1985.

Issued exclusively for Downies Collectables, the reverse captures the haunting essence of the tragedy while the obverse features an effigy of King Charles III. Housed in a stylish clear-lid case with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
