The exact services and pricing for your order will be displayed at checkout after you enter your delivery address.
If you purchase goods from us for delivery to a destination outside Australia, your purchase may be subject to import duties and taxes applied by the destination country. You are responsible for paying any such duties or taxes. Please contact your local customs office for more information before making a purchase. We are not responsible for the payment of any such duties or taxes and are not liable for any failure by you to pay them.
Delivery will take place as soon as reasonably practicable, depending on the selected delivery method. Delivery times may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Please note that delivery times do not include weekends and public holidays. Heritage Straits Coins Pty Ltd is not responsible for postal delays once dispatched.
If your parcel from Australia Post is misdelivered or arrives damaged, please inform us within 48 hours after the tracking status shows “delivered". Include your order number and any relevant details. Notifications received after this period are usually not accepted unless you can demonstrate exceptional circumstances.
A parcel is considered lost, misdelivered, or damaged only if Australia Post or the courier confirms it is after a formal investigation.
If a parcel is shown as delivered to the address and signed for on Australia Post's tracking, we will treat the delivery as completed and are generally unable to offer compensation unless Australia Post's investigation confirms misdelivery or another carrier error.
If a parcel is lost, misdelivered or damaged in transit:
If you purchased postage with insurance, your order is insured for its full value. If you purchased postage without insurance, compensation is limited to Australia Post's standard cover (typically AUD $100), and refunds cannot exceed this amount if the parcel is lost, misdelivered, or damaged in transit.
Customers must provide complete delivery details, ensure someone is available to sign at the nominated address, and fully cooperate with Australia Post inquiries. Heritage Straits Coins Pty Ltd cannot compensate for more than the insured value or Australia Post's confirmed payout.
You are required to provide us with a complete and accurate delivery address, including the name of the recipient. We are not liable for the delivery of your goods to the wrong address or wrong person as a result of you providing us with inaccurate or incomplete information.
We accept refund requests for goods sold on our Site for any of the following reasons only:
For older or discontinued releases, some natural ageing of packaging, capsules, certificates or shippers is expected and will often be noted in the product description. Minor age‑related wear or cosmetic imperfections to packaging alone do not constitute a defect or “not as described” for this policy.
Refunds do not apply to the following reasons/goods:
Refund requests must be made within 48 hours after receipt of your goods.
Email us at orders@heritagestraitscoins.com.au to initiate the process, and include clear photos of the item, its packaging and any damage or defects. We will assess the claim and, if substantiated, offer a refund.
Returns must be received in resaleable condition, including unopened packaging (where applicable), intact capsules and slabs, undamaged presentation cases and certificates, and no signs of wear, cleaning, swapping, or tampering.
If returned goods show use, damage, or alterations beyond the issue described in your claim, we may, at our discretion, reject the refund or offer only a partial remedy.

The following guarantees apply to our Site:
Where the Australian Consumer Law, Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, or any other consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction applies and cannot be excluded, these Terms of Service will not limit your legal rights and remedies under that legislation. These Terms of Service will be read subject to the mandatory provisions of that legislation. If there is a conflict between these Terms of Service and any applicable legislation, the mandatory provisions of that legislation will apply.
Heritage Straits Coins Pty Ltd and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses, including legal fees, from your use of the Site.

The laws of New South Wales, Australia, govern these Terms of Service. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. Where federal laws, including the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), apply, those provisions prevail over any inconsistent terms.
Subject to any exceptions specified in these Terms of Service, if you and Heritage Straits Coins Pty Ltd are unable to resolve any dispute through informal discussion, then you and Heritage Straits Coins Pty Ltd agree to submit the issue first before a non-binding mediator and to an arbitrator if mediation fails. The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding. Any mediator or arbitrator must be a neutral party acceptable to both you and Heritage Straits Coins Pty Ltd.
Notwithstanding any other provision in these Terms of Service, you and Heritage Straits Coins Pty Ltd agree that you both retain the right to bring an action in small claims court and to bring an action for injunctive relief or intellectual property infringement.
If at any time any of the provisions outlined in these Terms of Service are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms of Service. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal, and the remainder of these Terms of Service will remain valid.
These Terms of Service may be amended from time to time to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to how we operate our Site and how we expect users to behave on our Site. We will notify users by email of changes to these Terms of Service or post a notice on our Site.
