The reverse features a fierce tiger on a mountain peak, head turned, jaws showing sharp teeth, surrounded by "TIGER 2022," the Chinese character 虎 (hǔ), weight, purity, and the "P" mintmark.

The obverse displays the Jody Clark effigy of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, confirming its status as Australian legal tender.
